Born in Jamaica, Dainty Nix brings her experience as an educator and mother to every children’s story she writes.
She taught at New York City’s F.H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, and studied children’s book writing at Pratt Institute and the Children’s Book Academy.
