Dainty Nix
Dainty Nix was born in Jamaica West Indies.
She is currently an Author of Children’s Books and a part time College Professor.
Dainty lives in Stroudsburg Pennsylvania with her husband.
She has four children.
Dainty has a Master’s Degree in Education. She taught for many years at F.H. La Guardia High School of Music and Arts and Performing Arts in New York City. She taught and inspired many of our present and future artists.
She was nominated at the High School level and College level, for her outstanding work in teaching.
Dainty’s major goal in life is to motivate the younger generation and to bring out their inner strengths. It is her belief that who we are today, depends upon our experiences at an early age. She strongly believes that no child should be left behind and spends her career working to help achieve that goal.
While still teaching, Dainty made the commitment to become a Children’s Book Author. She believes that children and young adults should be inspired, while having fun, through reading.
Dainty first learnt the craft of writing Children’s Books at Pratt Institute.
She further developed her craft at the Children’s Book Academy.
Dainty presents herself as a role model.
Through her books and her own life experiences, she hopes to touch the hearts of today’s youths.
